This is an early design for some biomimetic jewellery I am making. So far it has invited people to play with it when they see it which is interesting :-). It has insect qualities, something which I will continue to research, which reflects biomimicry. I have made the mechanism from aluminium which holds some stainless steel fabric mesh which is an amazing material though its a pain because it creases easily. You forget its metal!
